To be a Medicare Provider, the agency has to have an Advisory Board and Governing Board. Ours consist of many business men and women of the community.

Home healthcare can make discharge from the hospital earlier. At times it can even make admission to the hospital unnecessary. And since most people feel more comfortable at home their morale is higher, which contributes to a shorter recovery time.

Our patients are referred to us from the physician then a Registered Nurse goes to the home for an evaluation to see if the patient meets the requirements for Home Health.  We feel that being a small agency allows us to give our patients one on one care.  Our Nurses have the advantage of getting to know the patient and their condition.  We also allow the patient to share their likes and dislikes and even the time of day they would like to be seen.  We strive to give the proper care to our patients, arrive on a scheduled time, and give personal care.  Our skilled services allow us to give the same care that larger agencies provide but with the small agency effect.  Our logo is “Hometown Health Care at It’s Best”.  We strongly feel that everyone should have a choice on the care they receive in their home.  When a patient leaves the Hospital or a Rehab Facility they are given a list of Agencies that they can choose from. It is our hope that you, the future patient will decide to put your trust in our Home Care team. We are proud to be able to serve the community by providing our patients their homecare needs, and allowing them to stay home and heal in their own environment.

Experience is certainly not lacking here at Shepherd Home Health. Our nurses have well over 40 years of combined experience. Tammy has been performing home health in this community for over 20 years. All of our nurses are caring, kind, compassionate individuals who will take your medical condition seriously and give you the care you deserve. The Nursing Staff here at Shepherd Home Health can offer wound care including Wound Vac Treatments, IV Therapy, Premature infant care with monthly Synagis injections, Newborn Care with Bili Therapy, Chemo Certified, Growth  Factor Therapy for Anemia and Cancer Related Treatment,  Diabetic Care, Cerebral Accident Patients, Cardiac Rehab and follow up surgical and non-surgical care.

We feel very fortunate and blessed with the progress this agency has made since our opening. In August we were able to successfully complete our State and Medicare Surveys without any deficiencies, a feat that is rarely accomplished by any agency.

Shepherd Home Health, LLC accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance.

Again it a pleasure
to offer our services to you.
